The beast's slashing claws and gnashing teeth are rendered useless as it efforts are spent upon hoards of undead minions and swarms of lesser demons. Its fearsome magics are rebuffed through careful planning, Priests and Mages shield and battle against the demon beast’s spells as if in an intricate display. Blossoms of fire flare in and out around the battle field. From your vantage point, you can clearly see as the Seki’et call out orders for another volley of arrows. The giant reptilian monster they have been fighting for so long, appears to be on its last legs. The command is issued and the arrows release. Emitting a roar that would pierces the heavens the beast, finally collapses under the weight of the onslaught. A cheer of elation to rival that of the beast’s dying cry fills the air. “Victory for Set, victory for the Hand!” Player vs. Environment (PvE) is one of the core aspects in Hand of Set. End game raiding is one very important piece of the puzzle. Without it, true domination cannot be achieved. It is through our end game raiding that Hand of Set will obtain the tools necessary to be the best it can be. Hand of Set's raiding system is organized in such a way to promote fair and equal treatment of all it's members seeking to raid in Age of Conan. The Raid Leader, also called the Seki'et, is in charge of all things PvE, quest, and raid related. It is his/her duty to schedule raids, run the raids, monitor and maintain members' DKP, and to assure equal and fair treatment of all members during raiding. The Seki'et is also in charge of making sure Hand of Set members have the knowledge and help they need in questing. He/she will do this by providing information and assistance with all types of quests ranging from solo to group & raiding quests. Since questing is essential to the game; detailed information on all quests will be supplied as they are encountered through the in-game process as well as outside sources. Raiding, the main PvE goal of Hand of Set,; will be handled by the Raid Leader(Seki'et) and/or assistant officer(s) which will be conducted per calendar events. Raids will also have a strict set of rules everyone will be required to follow, including officers. Loot distribution will be handled using Age of Conan’s internal loot system and a DKP (Dragon Kill Points) system also in place. ...................................
